Power the Future of AI & Why This Role Matters

As an Associate Legal Counsel, you’ll play a key role in supporting Sirion’s business by reviewing, drafting, and negotiating vendor contracts and NDAs while helping teams move quickly and manage legal risk effectively. Working closely with Procurement, IT, Security, and business stakeholders, you’ll contribute to efficient contract execution and gain hands-on experience in commercial contracting within a fast-growing global SaaS company.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a high volume of vendor, procurement, and commercial agreements with a focus on speed, quality, and business pragmatism.
  • Review, draft, and negotiate NDAs (mutual, unilateral, and vendor-specific) while ensuring appropriate legal protection.
  • Advise Procurement, IT, Security, and business teams on contractual risks and practical solutions to support business objectives.
  • Support efficient vendor onboarding and commercial deal execution by partnering with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Review customer contracts and provide practical, risk-based legal guidance in collaboration with senior members of the Legal team.
  • Support RFx responses and other commercial transactions requiring legal review.
  • Maintain and continuously improve contract templates, NDA playbooks, and standard legal documentation.
  • Coordinate contract approvals, execution, document tracking, and reporting to ensure smooth legal operations.
  • Develop and improve legal workflows, transaction tracking processes, and operational metrics.
  • Support adoption and administration of Sirion-on-Sirion while contributing to continuous process improvements across the Legal function.

Skills & Experience You Bring to the Table

  • 2–4 years of commercial contracting experience with strong exposure to vendor/procurement agreements and NDAs.
  • Qualified to practice law in India or another common law jurisdiction.
  • Strong contract drafting, review, and negotiation skills with the ability to independently manage vendor agreements.
  • Excellent understanding of commercial legal risk and the ability to provide practical, business-focused advice.
  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills across business and legal teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, global, client-oriented environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • High degree of responsiveness, sound judgment, and collaborative working style.

Core Expertise:

  • Prior in-house legal experience within a technology, SaaS, or cloud-based organization.
  • Experience independently managing a high volume of vendor contracts and confidentiality agreements.
  • Familiarity with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platforms or legal workflow tools.
  • Exposure to AI-powered legal technologies for contract review, drafting, or legal operations.
  • Experience supporting legal operations, reporting, and process optimization initiatives.
