About the speakers
Kunal Sawarkar, Chief Data Scientist & Distinguished Engineer-GenAI, IBM
Kunal Sawarkar is a Chief Data Scientist & Distinguished Engineer-GenAI at IBM. He also serves as an Angel Investor and as an Advisory Board Member. He holds a Master’s degree from Harvard University with major coursework in Applied Statistics. He has been applying Machine Learning to solve unsolved problems in industry & society, has founded & led various Product labs in the past, and holds 21+ patents & papers publications in this field. When not diving into data, he enjoys rock climbing & learning to fly apart from continuing his incessant curiosity in astronomy & wildlife.
Dr. Lewis Z. Liu, Chief AI Officer, Sirion
Dr. Lewis is currently leading Sirion’s AI strategy and integration following Sirion’s acquisition of Eigen Technologies, scaling global contract lifecycle management (CLM) and AI-driven solutions. An alumnus of Harvard University and Oxford University, he has a rich legacy and deep expertise of having led global teams in research and advisory across key areas like document management, data intelligence, data extraction and contract lifecycle management.
