The September 2025 product release continues Sirion’s evolution into an AI-driven contracting platform that simplifies authoring, strengthens automation, and enhances platform-wide intelligence. From pre-negotiated clause suggestions in Word to smarter document summarization and context-aware search, Version 2.97 helps legal and procurement teams move faster and stay aligned across every workflow.
Here’s a closer look at what’s new.
Authoring – Faster Negotiations, Smarter Signing
DocuSign – Stronger, More Secure Authentication
DocuSign integrations are now secured with Authorization Code Grant and PKCE support. Users authenticate once and work seamlessly across signing workflows while maintaining compliance with modern security standards.
Delegated Signer Visibility for DocuSign and AdobeSign
Sirion now tracks delegation events in real time and records delegated signer details directly in the contract, ensuring full transparency when signers pass on their signing authority.
Consistent Error Messages for File Upload and Edit Restrictions
Users now see clear, consistent, and context-aware error messages whenever file edits or uploads are restricted during workflows—helping teams quickly identify and resolve the cause.
Signature Clause Support for Third-Party Papers (TPPs)
Sirion now recognizes and processes signature clauses in third-party papers, enabling fully automated signing workflows through DocuSign and AdobeSign. Recipient setup, signing roles, and order sequences are handled automatically, reducing manual work.
Sirion for Word Add-in: Pre-Negotiated Clauses by Counterparty
The Word Add-in now surfaces pre-negotiated clauses from past contracts with the same counterparty, allowing teams to reuse proven language instead of starting from scratch. Users can review, compare, and insert these clauses directly during drafting, ensuring faster, more consistent negotiations.
Auto Extraction – AI Summaries, Turbo Fields, and Faster Setup
Talk to Document: Now Summarizes Contracts and Clauses
The Talk to Document agent now goes beyond answers. It can summarize entire contracts or individual clauses, delivering concise overviews of key terms like confidentiality, termination, or liability without reading through lengthy text.
Improved AE Show Page Experience
The Auto Extraction Show Page has been redesigned with clearer help text, inline review counts, “Read More” options for long content, and updated icons, making reviews cleaner and more intuitive.
Automatic Creation of AE Fields for Contracts
Sirion now auto-creates and maps AE fields for both text and non-text data types in Contract and Draft Request entities, reducing manual configuration effort by up to 90%.
Introducing Extraction Studio for Turbo Fields
A major upgrade for LLM-powered extraction, the new Extraction Studio gives admins full control to design, edit, and manage Turbo Fields directly in the UI. Admins can define prompts, enforce data formats (like ISO currency codes or date formats), and configure structured outputs without backend support.
Platform – Smarter Search, Better Visibility, and Easier Administration
Client Admin 2.0: AskSirion NL2SQL Playground for Field Description Testing
Admins can now test and validate field descriptions in AskSirion Corpus Search directly using the NL2SQL Playground. Generate sample questions, edit, and test SQL outputs in real time for faster onboarding and better accuracy.
Smarter Status Tracking After Workflow Migration
Entities migrated from Workflow 1.0 to 2.0 now automatically re-evaluate due dates and statuses (like “Upcoming” or “Overdue”) based on current service data, ensuring accurate progress tracking.
Reminder Emails Now Fully Support Workflow 2.0
Workflow 2.0 now supports Daily, Weekly, Monthly, and Annual reminder email schedules, keeping task notifications consistent and timely.
AskSirion Corpus Search: Smarter Context Awareness
AskSirion now shows active query scope when a user opens a contract, folder, or document. A scope indicator explains what’s currently in context, allowing users to reset and return to the last conversational state instantly.
Cognitive Search: Full Support for Filterable Fields
Users can now search across all static and custom fields, including keywords, filenames, and line items, for a more complete and faster search experience.
Cognitive Search: OR Logic and Nested Conditions
Cognitive Search now supports OR logic and up to three levels of nested filters, making it easy to run complex queries with precision and speed.
Cognitive Search: Search Templates by Text
Users can now search directly within template text to find specific versions faster, improving accuracy and reducing manual browsing.
Streamlined Mandatory Commenting in Workflows
Mandatory commenting is now enforced only on specific workflow steps where it’s configured, reducing unnecessary friction and improving user experience.
Admin 2.0: Modernized Field Labels and Translations
Field labels and translations are now consolidated under the new Field Label setting in Admin 2.0. The improved UX includes audit logs, bulk updates, and consistent multi-language support.
Workflow Progress Bar – Cleaner UX for Cyclic Workflows
The Workflow Progress Bar now displays only relevant completed stages, removing repeated cycles for a cleaner, more intuitive workflow view.
Expanded Theme Colors for Organization Branding
Organizations can now choose from new theme colors—deep indigo, peach, and green—aligning the Sirion interface more closely with their corporate identity.
Counterparty Info in Contract Creation
While creating a contract, users can now hover over counterparty names to instantly view details like address, country, and postal code, ensuring faster and more accurate selections.
B2B API – More Secure, Multilingual, and Context-Aware Integrations
Introducing B2B API v3 with UUID and External ID Support
Sirion’s new B2B API v3 framework replaces internal database IDs with universal UUIDs and External IDs. This upgrade improves security, traceability, and cross-platform compatibility across major modules such as Suppliers, CLIs, Users, and User Groups.
Smarter Webhook Filtering and Rule Configuration
Webhook notifications now trigger only for documents linked to the specified contract, eliminating unnecessary noise. Advanced filtering options now include wildcards, date ranges, numeric conditions, and boolean rules for precise event management.
API Responses Now Support Localization
Sirion APIs can now return field labels and option values in the end-user’s preferred language. Responses automatically adapt across systems like Salesforce, SAP, or SuccessFactors, defaulting to English when no language is specified.
